Sunnies + Sunshine

Originally, I had planned to share my next NYC recap with y’all today, but this warm weather has me feeling frisky and wanting to post something a little brighter! I’m totally that girl who rushes into sandals and tank tops at the first sight of spring and Monday’s little peek of sunshine had me doing just that for a little ladies’ midday lunch on the patio at 82 Queen. Is this not the perfect outfit for sipping mimosas on a sunny Charleston afternoon?!

This sweater has been my favorite to throw on for these beautiful, but still a little chilly, spring days. I’m just really into a sleeveless turtleneck at the moment and it’s so practical for the time of year! So, don’t be surprised if this continues to be on repeat throughout the next few months- sorry, not sorry! I wanted to keep this look bright and fresh, so I paired it with classic white skinnies- aka your number one spring must have. I have been dying to wear these gorg nude Prada booties ever since I snagged them on major sale at Bob Ellis, but the rain has kinda been a style cramper. I love how classy they are and the suede/bootie combo is the perfect way to keep this outfit from being too summery.

I really felt that in order to keep that classic, fresh look, I needed to continue keeping things pretty neutral. My new GiGi New York bag from Trés Carmen Boutique definitely kept that going for me. I’ve had my eye on this color GiGi for quite a bit and am so happy I finally made the purchase! It’s such a classic and practical look for such a great price! Then, I topped things off with my new absolute favorite accessory, these fabbb Ray Bans! Y’all, I’m obsessed! The round frames, the tan/gold combo, the fact that they FOLD UP, oh and that I found them at Saks off 5th for 80 bucks- they’re pretty much one of the best things to ever happen to me. Not gonna lie, I just feel like a total badass wearing them. PS- they had an entire display of Ray Bans at the Saks off 5th in Tanger!!

Oh, so did I mention that I have the best friends ever and Chloe {you may know her as TopKnots and PolkaDots} took these pics for me after our adorable little birthday lunch with girlfriends?! We might have had a little too much fun and made fools of ourselves on The Battery, but I think she did a pretty darn good job. Plus, when your bestie is shooting you, you get all sorts of ridiculous outtakes like these gems below! Cue: Whip My Hair Back & Forth
