Today begins the first day of a week full of Valentine’s attire posts! Why celebrate just one day when you can play dress up all week? This get up is something you can take from the office to date night. This is why I LOVE a good shift dress! They are so wearable and can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with flats. You could even wear this with tights and boots on a chilly day. Not to mention it is super comfortable! The animal print is another great, versatile aspect of this dress. Animal print=neutral and can be worn with basically any color! Given the festivities this week, I decided to add a fun pop of red this time with a pair of suede pointy toe heels. They really take what could of been a neutral, safe outfit with a pair of black heels to the next level. And this is not something you have to wait for Valentine’s Day to wear! This style can be worn anywhere from late Fall to early Spring. Now, I am somewhat addicted to lipstick, so I jump at any chance to wear a bright shade! Naturally, I took advantage of the red theme and added it on my lips too. To complete the look I added a medium sized pearl and gold bead necklace. I strongly feel that any shift style dress should ALWAYS be worn with a necklace! Otherwise, you just don’t look finished. The shift also provides a neckline that makes necklaces easy to wear, whether it be a chunky statement or a long pendant. This slightly chunky pearl necklace really polishes the look off nicely. This is a very simple outfit to put together, but gives you a classically chic look that will stand out from the rest.

  1. Aw, this was a very nice post. Spending some time and actual effort to produce a very good article… but
what can I say… I procrastinate a lot and never manage to get anything done.
